Accessibility statement

Version 2026-10-16 ยท Effective 16 October 2026. We want every child to be able to learn with Mathidia Junior.

What the app offers today

  • Questions can be read aloud using the speaker button, and optional voice answers are available where the browser supports them (an adult turns this on).
  • Every question can be answered by tapping or typing โ€” the microphone is never required.
  • Large, high-contrast text and buttons designed for young children.
  • The site works with browser zoom and text resizing.
  • Interactive controls carry accessible names so screen readers can announce them.

Known limitations

Some picture-based questions rely on seeing the image; the read-aloud text describes the question but not always every visual detail. Promotional videos include captions but not audio description. We are working to improve both.

Standard we aim for

We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA across the parent and child experiences. This is a goal we test against, not a certification; we have not yet completed a formal independent audit.

Tell us about a problem

If you or your child hits an accessibility barrier, email support@mathidiajunior.com with the subject "Accessibility". Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and the device and browser you were using. We reply within one month and prioritise fixes that block a child's learning.

Official references

These are the primary sources our policies follow. We review them at least every 12 months, and sooner when the guidance changes; any change to our policies is approved by the service owner before it takes effect.
