Cookies & storage

What we store in your browser and why. The short answer: only what the app needs to work.

Strictly necessary only

We use a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries, all strictly necessary for the service you asked for:

  • Sign-in session — keeps the parent signed in between visits.
  • Child session — an opaque token that keeps a child signed in on a trusted device so they only need their avatar and PIN.
  • Device fingerprint — a random identifier that lets us recognise a device you have approved as trusted.
  • Cookie notice flag — remembers that you dismissed the cookie banner.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no social-media pixels and no third-party analytics that follow your family around the web.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Clearing them signs everyone out and removes the trusted-device token, so the next child sign-in on that device will need your email approval again.
