Children's privacy

A plain-language summary for parents of how we protect children who use Mathidia Junior.

Children never create accounts

Only a parent can create a child profile. A child signs in by tapping their picture and a 4-digit PIN chosen by the parent. Children never enter an email address, password, phone number or real name.

What we collect from a child

Only what learning requires: the nickname and avatar the parent picks, the child's date of birth (used solely to choose age-appropriate questions), their answers, progress, stars and badges, and time spent learning. We never ask for a photograph, location, school or contact details.

What children cannot do

There is no chat, no messaging, no friend lists, no public profiles, no comments and no way for a child to contact — or be contacted by — anyone. Nothing a child does is visible to anyone except their own parent.

No advertising or tracking

Mathidia Junior carries no advertising and we do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell or share a child's data with anyone.

New devices need your permission

If your child signs in on a device you have not trusted, nothing happens until you approve it by email — temporarily or permanently. You can remove any device at any time from your dashboard.

You are in control

From your dashboard you can view everything stored about your child, export it, and delete it permanently. Deleting a child profile removes their progress, attempts, sessions and device records. See the data deletion page for the steps.
