Child safety & acceptable use
Version 2026-10-16 ยท Effective 16 October 2026. The safety design of Mathidia Junior and the rules everyone must follow.
1. Safe by design
- No chat, messaging, comments, friend lists or public profiles โ children cannot contact or be contacted by anyone.
- No advertising, no behavioural tracking, no third-party analytics on any screen a child can see.
- Children never enter an email address, phone number, real name, photograph or location.
- Children sign in only with a picture and a parent-chosen 4-digit code, on devices the parent has approved.
- Repeated wrong codes temporarily lock sign-in, and new devices need a parent's email approval.
- All questions come from a fixed, curriculum-mapped question engine โ no open-ended AI or user-generated content can reach a child.
2. Acceptable use
Parents and children must not:
- share one child profile between several children, or share a parent account with other families;
- try to copy, scrape or republish the questions, lessons or videos;
- probe, attack or interfere with the service, or bypass device approval or the sign-in lockout;
- create an account for a child you are not the parent or legal guardian of;
- use the service for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, after warning where practical.
3. Reporting a safety concern
If anything on Mathidia Junior ever worries you or your child, email support@mathidiajunior.com with the subject "Child safety". Safety reports are prioritised and acknowledged within one working day. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
