AI policy
How Mathidia Junior uses — and deliberately does not use — AI in a product for children.
Questions are deterministic, not improvised
Every question your child sees is produced by a curriculum-mapped question engine with fixed rules and validated answers. Answers are checked server-side against exact expected values. The app does not ask an AI model to invent questions or mark free-form answers in real time.
No open-ended AI chat
Children cannot type to or converse with an AI. There is no chatbot, no generative text shown to children, and no AI feature that can produce unreviewed content inside the learning experience.
Your child's data is never used to train models
Answers, progress and personal details are used only to run and improve your own child's learning path and to build your parent reports. They are never used to train AI models and never shared with AI providers.
Adaptive difficulty is explainable
The difficulty your child sees is decided by transparent rules — recent accuracy, mastery per skill, and curriculum prerequisites — not by an opaque algorithm. Parents can see the result of every decision in their progress reports.
If this changes
If we ever introduce an AI-assisted feature, we will update this policy and ask for parent consent before it touches your child's experience.
